The first day of the two day WCK Muay Thai event in China has ended, and the finals are set for the 122 lb tournament, and the 160 lb tournaments.
In the 122lb tournament American Romie Adanza and China's Li Ning will face off to see who will be crowned the tournament winner. Adanza defeated England's Paulo Da Silva for a fourth time in his career to advance to the tournament finals, while Ning defeated Japan's Kunitaka Fujiwara by decision after the fight had to go an extra round to determine the winner.
In the 160 lb tournament American Ky Hollenbeck will face Australian Steve Moxon. Hollenbeck made his way to the finals by defeating Russian Pavel Obozny via TKO in the third round due to knees, while Steve Moxon defeated Mexico's Luis Bio by decision to earn his spot.
In a WBC International Super Heavyweight Title fight American Steven Banks defeated Brazilian Eduardo Maiorino in the second round by TKO due to elbows.
In other news American Jeri Sitzes was not able to compete in her bout with Lenna Ovchynnikova. The reason for Sitzes removal is not know at this time.
